Institutes or conferences address a variety of topics associated with a main focus. Educators attending an institute or conference with a focus on mathematics education will be expected to share their learning with colleagues upon their return. This STELLAR route has an operational budget* of up to $1000, and takes place within a defined period of time.

* Budget may include: Substitute teacher costs up to a maximum of 1 teacher for 2 days; Materials/Resources up to a maximum of $500; Travel/Accommodation costs up to a maximum of $500; Registration fees up to a maximum of $500. All monetary values stated are in Canadian dollars. Please do not make STELLAR-funded purchases through a school account. Reimbursements can only be made directly to individual educators, not to school accounts.
