Student Services

The division of Student Services is responsible for:

  • developing policies and guidelines
  • providing professional learning and support to district personnel in the implementation of policies, guidelines and the Responsive Teaching and Learning Policy (K-6) and the Service Delivery Model (7-12)
  • researching and evaluating current educational practices  
  • providing specific student supports such as alternate transportation, alternate format materials, and assistive technology
  • liaising with school districts, parent groups, community agencies, other divisions within the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, and other departments as necessary.
